Description: Bearded Hercules wearing the leonté (skin of the Nemean lion) uniting Liberty draped on the left wearing a Phrygian cap and Equality on the right holding a level; the whole is surrounded by the legend beginning with an olive leaf. The name of the engraver under Hercules.

Caption: LIBERTÉ ÉGALITÉ FRATERNITÉ Dupré 

REVERS :

Description: The 50 Francs face value in two lines, below the different of the workshop (horn of plenty) and the engraver (dolphin). The whole is surrounded by a crown with an olive branch and an oak branch on the left, they are tied at their bases by a ribbon.
